Utilising the website - Navigating the website

This page contains a short explanation of the structure of the website.  Each section of the website (accessible via the sidebar) is also briefly described.

Hopefully this will help you to navigate the Gellionnen website!

Utilising the website

The website has three main parts, or 'frames'.  These are:

Banner: In addition to identifying the site, the banner also contains a scrolling text banner.  This is regularly updated with important/relevant information and news.

Sidebar: The sidebar contains links to other sections of the website.  It also contains an 'email us' button, copyright information and a website visitor counter.

Clicking on links to sections of the Gellionnen website will result in your selected link appearing in the Main frame of the website, with the banner and sidebar remaining on the screen.

The banner and sidebar will not remain on the screen if you click on a link to an external website.

Main: Clicking on links in the sidebar (to sections of the Gellionnen website only) will display your selected section here.  When you initially enter the website, the home page will be displayed.

Hymns

This section has not yet been re-launched.  This section will include galleries of the constant vandalism the chapel has endured over time, and (on a lighter note!) the fantastic views of the chapel and the surrounding mountains.

Stories/Poems

This page currently contains an extract from the book 'City of Djinns' by William Dalrymple (many thanks to HarperCollins) and a poem 'Fault Line' by Robert R. Walsh, both of which have been read out in Gellionnen.
