NEWS 09/05/2008

Unbelievably, there has been ANOTHER break-in at the chapel.
Several attempts were made to gain entry to the chapel resulting in some exterior damage to the doors and (brand-new, heavy duty) locks. As far as we can tell, there is no further damage to the inside of the chapel.

APPEAL: If you're driving over the mountain, please be extra vigilant! If you see any activity/vehicles near the chapel, don't assume they are chapel members/repair workers, please let us know, or if you can clearly see the activity is suspicious, don't hesitate to contact the police (and don't approach the chapel yourself!)

Last week, Llangiwg Church was broken into, and the visitor's book stolen. This break-in may or may not be linked.
Feel free to email gellionnen@hotmail.com with any information/thoughts.

Many thanks for your emails of sympathy, and for your offers to help with the clean-up (you'll receive a reply as soon as possible).

We're going to carry on holding Sunday morning services at the chapel. This temporary page will update you on these, and review recent events (in light of the recent vandalism at Gellionnen), whilst the website is undergoing a major update.
