IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding access to Gellionnen Chapel

A locked barrier has been erected at the top of the track leading down to the chapel.

The council have felt that this is a necessary measure, to try and stop the torrent of stolen cars that are regularly brought onto the mountain (often near to the chapel) and burned.

For the moment, the barrier will be opened sometime between 10:30 and 10:45 am ON SUNDAYS, in time for the service at Gellionnen Chapel.

The barrier will be LOCKED at 1:00 pm ON SUNDAYS (with the exception of special services).

The barrier will not be open at any other time except for the durations of our Sunday service (10:45 am  to  1:00 pm) and special services.

However, please take into account (especially if you are complaining) that Gellionnen Chapel and its congregation did not erect the barrier!  This does not mean that you should not be honest in your emails.
